Our fivefold concentrated grapefruit oil is obtained by cold pressing from the skin of the fruit. It is a concentrated form of the simple grapefruit oil. The raw material is processed into a concentrated form by distillation or rectification. Value components of the raw material are obtained by fractionation in order to produce high-quality products for the flavor and fragrance industry.
In addition to rectification, technologies such as liquid-liquid extraction, Co2 high-pressure extraction, molecular distillation and spinning cone columne can also be used. The 5-fold oil is only one of many ways of concentrating essential citrus oils.
